The Farm
In the 1980’s the original dairy farm was converted into orchard and market gardens. The initial planting of kiwifruit and persimmons were followed with the planting of limes, oranges, and grapefruit. In subsequent years feijoas, macadamias and heritage apples varieties have also been planted.
Pioneer Cottage

The fire place (image left) is all that remains of the original farm cottage. The cottage was built by John Martyn in 1859. The cottage was donated and relocated to Roulston Park in Pukekohe, it opened in 1965 and is referred to as Pukekohe's Pioneer Cottage.

The original red farm shed (right) provides a lovely backdrop to recent lime tree plantings.
