The rich volanic soil in the Bombay and Pukekohe area is ideal for growing many different fruit varieties

Kiwifruit

There are two varieties grown on the farm, Sungold (G3) and Red (R19).

Grapefruit - Golden Special

Large easy-to-peel juicy grapefruit with a sweet and tangy flavour. A thin skinned fruit with very few seeds.

Limes - Bearrs (Tahitian)

A hybrid of the Tahitian lime, a deep green seedless fruit which turns lime-yellow when mature. High juice levels make it ideal for drinks and cooking

Persimmons- Fuyu

The non astringent Fuyu fruit is a deep orange colour with a sweet nutty flavour. Fuyu have a crisp texture similar to an apple. 2024 SEASON NOW FINISHED

Oranges - Navel

The seedless, easy peel winter oranges have a sweeter taste than Valencias. This thin skinned fruit has firm flesh which makes parting the segments easy.

Oranges - Valencia

Sweet summer oranges named after the Spanish city of Valencia - famous for its citrus fruits. The brightly colored fruit, has a well-balanced sweet-tart flavor and is ideal for juicing.
